DIETARY ASSESSMENT METHODS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES / METODE DE STUDIU A DIETEI, AVANTAJE SI DEZAVANTAJE

Abstract


Abstract:

The study of food and beverage quantity and quality and the effect of their combination is of very

large and serious interest .In this work are involved medical institutions, the food industry, farmers and

also government’s institution. The aim of these studies is to determine which of the foods are really

healthy and to establish politics grounded in science for the prophylaxis of acute and chronic diseases

by influencing food industry and population alimentary habits and life style. Food’s composition studies include two big aspects: 1. the chemical analytic analyses of every product; 2. population food consumption based on alimentary interview My presentation here will refer to the population

food consumption. The second one aspect can use different interview methods. It can be applied face

to face, by phone or by e-mail. Every method has advanteges, disadvantages and an error risk. The

decision of using one of them depends on the study aim.For validation the results is recommended to

use food biomarkers which are present in the urine, hair, subcutaneus adipose tissue.

 

Rezumat:

Studiul cantitãtii si compozitiei alimentelor si bãuturilor consumate, a efectului combinatiilor

acestora reprezintã o temã de cercetare foarte amplã si serioasã implicand atât insitutii medicale, producãtorii din agriculturã, zootehnie, industria alimentarã cât si institutii guvernamentale. Scopul

acestor cercetãri este acela de a descoperi care dintre produsele alimentare sunt benefice sãnãtãtii si

de a stabili fundamente stiintifice pentru politici de profilaxie a bolilor cronice si acute prin influentarea

productiei de alimente, a comportamentului alimentar si a stilului de viatã al populatiei .

Studiul compozitiei alimentare presupune doua mari aspecte: 1: determinãri de chimie analíticã a

compozitiei fiecãrui produs si 2: studiul consumului alimentar al populatiei. Cel de-al doilea aspect utilizeazã diferite metode de intervievare a subiectilor. Acestea se pot desfãsura fatã în fatã, telefonic, prin e-mail. Fiecare metodã are avantaje si dezavantaje, riscuri de eroare. Decizia de a folosi una sau alta din metode depinde de scopul urmãrit. Pentru validarea rezultatelor se recomandã utilizarea biomarkerilor

alimentari care sunt prezenti în urinã, pãr, tesutul adipos subcutanat.
