Abstract:
Hemocromatosis is a desease due to excessive intracelular iron acumulation in the different
parenchymal organs, leading to toxicity and organic disfunctions. The organs involved are the liver,
heart, pancreas, pituitary, joins and the skin. Cardiomyopathia is a complication of hemocromatosis,
particulary at young people wich can leave to congestive heart failure or arrhythmias. The cardiomyopatia
can be restrictive or dilatative.
Rezumat:
Hemocromatoza este o tezaurismozã datoratã acumulãrii excesive de fier intracelular în parenchimul
diferitelor organe, ducând la toxicitate si afectare functionalã si organicã consecutivã. Organele
afectate sunt ficatul, inima, pancreasul, gonadele, articulatiile si pielea. Cardiomiopatia este o
complicatie a hemocromatozei, în mod particular la pacientii mai tineri, care poate duce la insuficientã
cardiacã congestivã sau aritmii. Cardiomiopatia hemocromatozicã poate fi restrictivã sau dilatativã.
